FieldOffice presents a sophisticated solution for sales teams, allowing them to efficiently manage customer quotes and orders directly from their iPads in the field. This application facilitates the submission of orders to corporate business systems through an Internet connection, thereby enhancing the sales workflow.

The program features capabilities such as inventory availability checks, price verification, and account credit assessments. In addition, FieldOffice enables sales personnel to access historical sales information instantaneously, allowing for improved customer service during interactions.

By streamlining the interaction between sales personnel and business systems, FieldOffice significantly reduces processing times and minimizes overhead costs while offering the flexibility of mobile operations. The app functions both online, with WiFi or 4G connectivity, and offline. In connected mode, data is processed in real time; conversely, when offline, orders are verified using a local database on the device and synchronized upon reconnection.

FieldOffice is built to leverage the SX.e business system along with Infor’s ION platform. When connected, the system efficiently manages pricing, sales tax computations, and credit validations through the SX.e system.
